JAMES M. STRAUSS has represented clients on a wide variety of matters in a wide variety of forums, including acting as counsel in numerous commercial and insurance-related litigations, securities arbitrations, contested matters in Surrogate’s Courts, administrative hearings before the New York State Division of Human Rights, and trial and appellate work in federal and state Courts in Alaska, California, Delaware, New York, Texas and Utah. Mr. Strauss graduated from Brooklyn Law School in 1990. While in law school, Mr. Strauss served as Notes Editor of the Brooklyn Law Review and authored "Shouldn't the Punishment Fit the Crime: United States v. One 1986 Mercedes Benz Automobile, and $2710.00 in United States Currency, and Cynthia Parker," 55 Brooklyn Law Review 417 (1989). Mr. Strauss is admitted to practice in New York and New Jersey federal and state courts and numerous other federal courts throughout the United States.
